Any experienced bettor will say that it is impossible to bet on sports successfully without choosing the highest odds. The lower the odds at bookmakers, the higher the margin and, consequently, the more noticeable the loss over the long term. By choosing the most advantageous bookmaker offers, however, one can avoid these drawbacks and achieve a solid long-term profit.

Clearly, a player should have at least 5-6 bookmakers at their disposal, among which they can choose the best odds. Doing this manually is not recommended: the task is too laborious and tiring, and reviewing a huge number of events and analyzing them is beyond the capabilities of many bettors.

Special services have been created to make players’ task easier; they automatically scan the lines of dozens of bookmakers and find the best odds. A fairly large number of such websites currently operate online, some of them paid, with subscription costs that are noticeably high. But there are also completely free options, such as BTFOdds – a foreign resource offering a wide variety of services.

Information. The portal was created in 2016, so it can be called relatively “young”.

Navigation and design on the BTFOdds website

The official BTFOdds resource is fully available in the Russian Federation; no Roskomnadzor sanctions have been applied to it.

When opening the main page, the user will discover that the resource operates exclusively in English, with no Russian-language version available here. Experienced bettors will nevertheless be able to understand the main functionality without knowing a foreign language; problems may arise only for beginners who are still poorly familiar with betting terminology.

The portal’s design is template-based, and this option can readily be found on dozens of other competing websites. Unfortunately, the developers have not provided any unique solutions or original functionality. Nevertheless, the service looks professional and is well laid out. Page loading speed is high, and navigation through internal links is fast and delay-free.

Some drawbacks should also be noted. The design contains many varied color accents, which contrast in some places and create inconvenience for users. The eyes quickly become tired from this palette. The website structure is rather ambiguous; the menu tabs have a complex hierarchy, with many sections duplicating one another. It is quite possible to “get lost” here, especially for inexperienced players.

Note. If you use an online translator to translate the entire website, its content will not be displayed entirely correctly, which will create some difficulties. It is better to work only in English.

Service capabilities

BTFOdds scans only 6 sports: football, hockey, basketball, tennis, baseball and American football. The lines of more than 30 bookmakers are taken into account, although their number is constantly growing; the current figure should be clarified on the official website. The main functionality that a bettor will need first of all is located in the “BTFOdds” section. It is in turn divided into several tabs:

  • Football ODDS. Football matches are collected here. The user can find a championship and the required game, study its odds and assess each team’s chances. The information is presented in a table containing the main details. There are also several subsections with filters, odds history and more.
  • ODDS Trend. A large section showing declining odds. It covers the main markets for one team’s victory or a draw, as well as Asian totals. There are also various filters, a view of money movements, the option to choose a line from particular bookmakers and much more.
  • Comparison. Comparison of odds. Events and odds at different bookmakers are displayed on screen. By default, the service provides the best offers, although the user can configure the output as they wish. It is possible to choose 2 bookmakers and compare their odds, remove unwanted bookmakers, leave only the required outcomes and more.
  • Tips Center. A kind of advice center from the site team. Specialists analyze a match and set their own odds for it; if they differ from the bookmakers’ odds, the bet is treated as a value bet. The hit rate statistics can be viewed in the relevant section. Surebets are also available here, but only to registered users who have paid for a subscription.
  • Tipsters. Full-fledged predictions from the project’s analysts. Their services are also paid, with prices ranging from 50 to 420 depending on the number of predictions in the selected package. A subscription can be purchased for a month, half a year or a year. The tipsters’ success statistics are provided here as well, in a separate subsection.

Each of the sections listed above has several subsections. There is no point in describing everything, as it would take too much time. It is better to explore each item independently when visiting the website.

Reference. Some BTFOdds functions are available only to registered users. To register, you need to provide your surname and first name, create a login and password, and provide and confirm your email address. The procedure will take no more than a minute.

Other functions

Other BTFOdds sections should also be mentioned; they can essentially be considered core sections as well. They are not as important when comparing odds, but they may be useful when analyzing events.

BTFScores

This section allows users to view live match broadcasts. However, the functionality does not leave a pleasant impression. All that is available for a game is cards, authors and goal times, and the current score. The odds offered by various bookmakers at the current moment are also provided. To follow a match live and stay up to date with current events, it is better to use other, much more convenient resources.

BTFStats

A large section devoted to statistical indicators. In addition to the main section, it also contains subsections:

  • Match Stats. Statistics for an upcoming match. The teams’ head-to-head meetings, their positions in the championship or tournament, the win percentage and the number of games over 2,5 are provided. There is no other information.
  • Leagues Stats. An interesting and unique section that will be very useful to any bettor. It provides statistics on football leagues: how far the championship has progressed, its overall scoring rate, how often the home teams achieve success and other important information.
  • Team Stats. The best teams according to specific parameters are shown. For example, if over 2,5 is specified, the service will display the clubs that have surpassed this total more often than others.

There is also a “Help” section here; by opening it, you can watch a video teaching navigation around the resource.

BTFNews

Current news from the sporting world: player transfers, injuries, innovations and so on. Essentially, the section leads to a full-fledged betting website focused on collecting the latest news. There are many subsections, though finding the required data is not difficult; it is enough to use the portal’s search function.

Important! There is another Tipsters tab in the main menu. But it leads to a third-party website that sells predictions. It is better to ignore this section.

Summary

BTFOdds is a quality service for comparing odds, with other functions also in its arsenal. Some capabilities can, with reservations, be called unique, and they are by no means free; unfortunately, this is the site’s main drawback. It is recommended to use its services only if one is fundamentally unwilling to work with higher-quality services.

Feedbacks of scanner

Well, this is something else: there are few bookmakers to choose from, while the price is as if there were 70 or more of them. Maybe they will add more, of course; the functionality isn't bad and there are lots of decent offers. Still, the surebets are below average, the odds keep dropping and differ from those offered, and some are provided late.

The interface and a decent number of offers immediately caught my attention; I tried a plan for a month and overall there was more negative than positive. The surebets are garbage; if you don't moderate them yourself, you shouldn't dream of profit. But if you do everything yourself, then what's the point of the scanner?

A good site, with enough interesting features, but it is all just smoke and mirrors, because in essence I did not see anything worthwhile. The surebets are nonsense; it feels as if some bookmaker agent is sitting there and providing anything at random. I did not buy the paid plan, and everything is clear about them anyway.

I won't write much; I'm fed up with doing this with their support. I'll just show my statistics from their rock-solid surebets – 10 wins, 45 losses and 30 refunds from 100 surebets with a monthly subscription. There weren't any surebets at all during the last 3-4 days of the subscription. Did they get embarrassed or what? I don't understand this.

Terrible unprofessionalism from the support service, which also replies once in a blue moon. I wanted to clarify some things about payment, and they were rude, saying things like "just top up and that's it, why are you bothering us with stupid questions?" I've already been tried to be scammed several times over the phone, so I don't fall for it anymore; let them keep looking for suckers, I don't recommend paying them
