AutoBot – a bookmaker arbitrage scanner program from Positivebet

The Autobot program allows you to place bookmaker arbitrage bets automatically. The following bookmakers are supported:

Getting access to Autobot

To gain access to the program, you must have an account at Positivebet. Questions regarding access should be sent to support@positivebet.com.

The program itself was developed by the famous creators of TheForks, while Positivebet are merely partners in this matter. A somewhat complicated arrangement, but there are no other options. The same applies to Positivebet's website mentioning that they are product distributors. You will only be able to find a modest page with it after registering. It brings to mind the famous phrase «Only the one who knows where it is will find the way».

The scanner is available only as a desktop program for Windows. It cannot be used in a browser.

Main Autobot functions

The scanner settings include several main functions:

Bookmaker settings;
Bets;
Filter settings;

Bookmaker settings

The main settings concern the bookmakers themselves. The key parameters taken into account here include:

Mirror. The current mirror address of the bookmaker is specified.
Required in arbitrage. Here you specify which bookmakers must be taken into account during the search. If you check the boxes next to certain bookmakers, they will necessarily be used. In this case, options between two “non-required” bookmakers will not be displayed. If all bookmakers remain “non-required”, the program will search for possible “imbalances” among all bookmakers.
Currency and rounding. The account currency is specified so that the bot program can correctly calculate bet amounts. Rounding can also be configured for each currency.
Bet amount ranges. The minimum and maximum bet amounts are specified.

Bets

Everything is simple here: you specify the sports at bookmakers on which automatic bets will be placed using the bot. If, for example, football needs to be excluded, simply disable this item. The minimum and maximum bet size, the lifetime of arbitrage opportunities, and the “during the break” filter for individual sports are specified.

Filters in Autobot

If nothing is changed in the bot's default settings, it filters all possible options as follows:

Receives and sorts arbitrage opportunities according to the settings of the corresponding menu.
Sorts by profitability (the most profitable first).
Uses the first option.
The enabled bet filters are checked; if it does not meet the parameters, the next option in the list is considered.

Filters are divided into two types: bet filters and arbitrage filters.

Bet filter. Allows you to specify certain types of bets that will be used when finding arbitrage opportunities
Arbitrage filter. Allows sorting by profitability, as well as placing priority bookmakers whose options will be used first.

Currency

For each available currency, the exchange rate to the ruble is loaded automatically. It is also possible to enter the rate manually if automatic loading is disabled. Together with the currency and its rate, you can specify the required rounding of the amount for use in arbitrage opportunities. When rounding to 0,01 and 0,1, the next smaller integer will be used (if the calculation gives 45,7, it will be rounded to 46).

Autobot bot settings

This section contains additional bot parameters, such as recording all attempts to generate options, deleting old logs, and enabling notifications and animation.

Browser

In this set of settings, you can substitute the system language for a particular website. This is very important for foreign bookmakers.

Bookmaker order rules

The bot automatically places the first leg and then the second leg in sequence. This order can be specified in the settings. Arbitrage opportunities are sorted in the following order:

Search by exceptions. If an arbitrage opportunity is on the exceptions list, it is skipped.
Search by bookmaker pairs and within the bookmakers themselves.
Temporary exception settings (you can configure quarters, sets, or halves where arbitrage opportunities will not be accepted).

Additional settings also allow you to exclude certain events and leagues that will not be used for the search.

More about Autobot settings

In general, configuring AutoBot is quite a complicated process. Although all the items are entirely clear (at least to an arbitrage bettor with any experience), fine-tuning the program is already a matter of the highest order. It is not for nothing that settings can be found for sale online at a price of around 10k rubles. If you do not yet have much experience, be sure to look for ready-made settings. Despite the price, this can save money and increase profit.

An example of fine-tuning. You have one stable bookmaker in an arbitrage opportunity and a second bookmaker prone to frequent changes and recalculations of odds. In this case, the settings should be configured so that the leg at the unstable bookmaker is placed first. By the time the bot reaches the placement of the second leg, the odds at this bookmaker may already have changed. And this is only a small example of the huge number of nuances.

The following new features are available in the latest available version of Autobot:

It is possible to set a preference in an arbitrage opportunity for a bookmaker.
If the odds differ from the scanner readings, the found option will be canceled.
If the arbitrage opportunity is negative, a corresponding message will appear.
Statistics have been added to the description of found options.
Reauthorization occurs instantly instead of taking 60 seconds as before.

It should be noted that the scanner is constantly updated, and any malfunctions or inaccuracies in working with certain bookmakers are corrected. The developers monitor this system continuously. The Autobot service has its own active page on VK, where changes in the scanner's operation and additions are posted “online”. Issues concerning lags and malfunctions are also resolved.

How Autobot works

The main task you will have to perform is configuring the robot (which, as we have already mentioned, is a non-trivial task). Then you simply need to press the "start" button and everything begins to work.

Of course, you will need to log in to the required bookmakers for this. In addition, you need to purchase proxy servers for operation. We do not recommend using free ones: the speed of placing the legs depends heavily on proxy quality. If access is poor, the bot simply will not have time to place the second leg and you will suffer a loss. In principle, the cost of decent proxies is nothing compared with the cost of the subscription.

It is also not recommended to leave the program running unattended. Despite being a bot, it may need additional assistance. For example, a bookmaker may arrange a check to see whether a real person is present. Or, if placement of the second leg fails, you will be able to quickly correct the situation manually. If you are away from the computer, it is better to configure remote access to the desktop.

Conclusion about Autobot

The software is suitable specifically for professional tipsters who operate with large deposits and count on an acceptable percentage for each arbitrage opportunity. Moreover, half of the options in this scanner will simply be incomprehensible to beginners. For a lot of money, these are very expensive experiments.

You must understand that the bot will not free you from all of an arbitrage bettor's routine work: purchasing accounts with a good reputation, masking activity through proxies, and configuring the robot for appropriate behavior. Therefore, it will not become a “gold mine” for everyone.
