Arbitrage opportunities cannot be worse or better; they are found using the same scanner tools according to specified algorithms.
However, as a rule, scanners restrict the functionality of free arbitrage opportunities compared with paid ones.
For example,
- A delay of 15 minutes or more in displaying scan results is quite common. Given that many arbitrage opportunities disappear within 5-10 minutes after detection, you will therefore receive notifications about many opportunities that no longer exist.
- Limited profit rate on arbitrage. Arbitrage opportunities displayed for free are usually limited to a profit rate of 1% or less. The most profitable opportunities are hidden, which means that you can place bets only on opportunities with a low return on invested funds.
- A limited number of bookmakers. While paid scanners will show you the odds of all bookmakers for a specific match, free arbitrage software may simply show you only a few at its own discretion.
- Restrictions on the type of bookmaker arbitrage. In free arbitrage-search mode, betting middles and value bets are usually not displayed.
- Some scanners limit their free versions to just a few sports.
