As we have already answered above, if one hits the middle, the player profits from both bets, i.e. gets a very good “plus”. In the event of misses, the profit is obtained from only one of the bets.
A positive middle means that the player profits in any case if the profit is based on only one bet. In practice, such middles can be very few and narrow, and sometimes it makes no sense to pursue them merely because they are positive.
A negative middle means that when it is missed, the player obtains profit from only one bet, i.e. gets a small minus. This is done by those who want to make middles wider, thus increasing the probability of profiting from both stakes, thereby offsetting the possible disadvantages.
