PositiveBet is an arbitrage betting scanner covering both prematch and live surebets. The service also includes tools for finding value bets, making it useful for bettors who combine arbitrage with value betting.

PositiveBet was developed in 2013 and, as of today, has taken the leading position in its market niche.  The scanner analyses bets at the largest and most popular bookmakers in live mode. 

There is an opportunity to test the scanner for free. This means that all surebets with a winning rate of less than 1% are displayed in a freely available form. The service works in an online format. Convenient operation in different languages

The scanner analyses a sufficiently large number of bookmakers on the market. The website supports Russian and English. There is also an English-speaking support team. You can select the following currencies in the settings:

Additional features and software

PositiveBet has an extension of the same name, which helps to bet more quickly and easier, transferring only the bet and the amount into a special voucher on the website of the selected bookmaker. 

The plugin does not work with all bookmakers, but with the overwhelming majority of them.  In addition to simplifying the process of betting, it also masks the surebet player, imitating transitions from the bookmaker's main page to Live Bets sections and the like. 

This is a very important feature as many bookmakers try to identify surebet players, and it is undesirable to go directly from the scanner website to the website of the bookmaker.

The extension is developed for the three most popular browsers:  Chrome, Opera and Mozilla Firefox.

Of course, the Surebet Calculator is integrated in the extension. The service is fire, but far from perfect. Empty entries often slip through in prematch, and, most frustratingly, in live as well. I believe in the power of live, so errors are critical for me, as they often result in a serious loss of money

Of course, you have to monitor this yourself, but in live betting it’s quite difficult to react that quickly. As a result, both legs can fail, leading to a losing session. The administration acknowledges the errors and writes "thank you," but refuses to offer any kind of perk, such as a couple of subscription days. So I’m giving it four stars.

I use a dozen bookmakers with it, and at least 6 out of 10 are sluggish during scanning. That was almost always the case, and a couple of seconds wasn't critical for me, but for someone who joined recently, it will seem inconvenient and, to put it mildly, strange. Fine, I know all these quirks and have adapted. And lately, the 3-4 bookmakers that are the main ones—the exchange and the sportsbook—have stopped working properly. And in light of the fact that they have stopped responding to criticism by email—it's a complete disaster! I hope they will still find competent programmers and fix things.

Or how can it be that in live betting you have to additionally examine the odds and make sure that a surebet really exists? A questionable story for a program that, for some reason, is considered one of the best. But there are positives too, I won’t argue. The functionality is convenient, in principle. Everything is simple and clear; you find what you need (if it exists), and the bookmakers are mostly well-known. In short, the program is usable, and some people may even like it. But I would prefer to look for something else.

I like that there are always enough matches selected here, although I barely have time to look through a quarter of them. A lot of bookmakers are covered, but I haven’t come across any names I knew absolutely nothing about. Plus, the subscription isn’t among the most expensive—the price justifies itself. Personally, I’m taking a short break right now, so I’m studying the market more than participating in it, and I can say that all scanners have downsides. But with Positive, these downsides are open and on the surface. Players quickly learn about the shortcomings and are able to deal with them, which works in the developers’ favor.

I am personally familiar with one program where each offering required a separate subscription, which came as an unpleasant surprise. Otherwise, it is a fairly standard scanner. If you take the standard advantages and disadvantages from all the top resources, this is their embodiment in every respect. The main thing is that you can bet, and bet successfully, and nothing more is required.

After some time, I can say that I do not regret my choice. Most of the information in the reviews was confirmed, but everything turned out not to be as critical as they described. Yes, there are issues with surebets and there are lags, but where are there none? As soon as a scanner appears that completely eliminates such problems, the others will cease to exist. I give it four stars because the developers are in no hurry to improve the program. Perhaps they think everything is fine as it is, or perhaps it is something else.

I don’t know why there are so many dissatisfied people. In my opinion, it’s an excellent scanner. Everything is simple and clear, and I don’t encounter any problems while using it. I can calmly open it to study prematch bets, choose a couple or three suitable surebets, compare them, and make sure everything is fine. Or I can rush into live betting and place a bet on what’s offered in about 20 seconds. I’ve never had it happen that I placed a bet without checking and then discovered that the scanner had messed up. I can trust it and feel at ease. If someone asks which program I would recommend for arbitrage betting, I recommend Positive. So far, I haven’t received any negativity in response.

What I like about this scanner is that the filters here are as simple as possible. You go to the proposed surebets, choose your sport, event type, surebet size and everything else you want. You can look by bookmaker too, of course, since I personally am simply too lazy to open accounts everywhere. What I do not like is that the system sometimes slows down. It does not happen often, but it does happen. And it is really annoying. I understand that nobody is protected from this, but when you have already prepared everything and it freezes, you want to close the site immediately and never open it again.
