BreakingBet is a long-running arbitrage betting scanner offering prematch and live surebets, value bets and middles. The service covers more than 390 bookmaker sites and mirrors and monitors 16 sports, with real-time odds updates, filtering tools, calculators and betting analytics. In this review, we look at BreakingBet's current features, pricing, strengths and limitations.

History of BreakingBet

BreakingBet was launched in 2016, initially operating in test mode and remaining free for users until mid-2018. Since then, the service has developed considerably, adding new tools, expanding its bookmaker and sports coverage, and improving its interface and scanning capabilities.

Today, BreakingBet is a mature arbitrage betting platform offering prematch and live surebets, value bets and middles. The service continues to evolve: recent updates have included an API, redesigned filters, interface improvements and support for additional bookmakers.

Features and Advantages of BreakingBet

Before delving into the platform's functionality, it's essential to highlight the key features that this scanner offers. It's important to note that not all the features promoted by the developers can truly be considered advantages, but most of them do set the scanner apart from competitors.

  • High-Speed Updates

BreakingBet updates its data every 3–5 seconds, allowing users to respond quickly to changes in bookmakers' odds. Fast updates are particularly important for arbitrage betting, especially in live mode, where profitable opportunities can disappear within seconds.

Despite the relatively high scanning speed, BreakingBet maintains good result quality, which is one of the reasons we rate its scanning performance highly.

  • Extensive Bookmaker Coverage

BreakingBet offers extensive bookmaker coverage across both prematch and live scanning. According to the service's current data, Prematch covers 62 main bookmaker sites plus 333 supported clones and mirrors, while Live covers 42 main sites plus 243 clones and mirrors.

This distinction is important: the total number of supported sources should not be interpreted as hundreds of completely independent bookmaker companies. Many are regional versions, clones or mirrors of the same betting platforms. Even so, the coverage is broad and continues to expand as BreakingBet adds new bookmakers and regional sources.

  • User-Friendly Interface

BreakingBet has a clean and practical interface that is relatively easy to understand even for users who are new to arbitrage betting. Surebets, Middles and Value Bets are separated into dedicated sections, while the most important tools remain easily accessible.

Each opportunity can be opened directly in the calculator. The interface also provides information about the initiator and odds movements, while quick access to filters makes it possible to adjust the results without unnecessary navigation. Despite the large number of available settings, the platform remains fairly straightforward to use.

  • Trial Before Payment

BreakingBet allows users to explore the scanner interface before purchasing a subscription. This makes it possible to examine the available filters, see how opportunities are organized and try the built-in calculator before deciding whether the service is suitable for your needs.

However, access without a paid subscription is limited. Key betting information, including the actual outcomes and odds required to place the bets, remains hidden until a subscription is activated. The free access is therefore best viewed as a way to evaluate the interface and functionality rather than as a fully functional free scanner.

  • BreakingBet Scans 16 Different Sports

BreakingBet currently scans 16 sports, covering both major and less mainstream disciplines. The list includes football, ice hockey, handball, volleyball, basketball, tennis, baseball, boxing, MMA, e-Sports, darts, rugby, futsal, cricket, table tennis and American football.

Users can select the sports they want to work with in the filters and exclude irrelevant disciplines. This makes it easier to focus on familiar competitions without cluttering the results with unnecessary events.

  • Value Bets and Middles

BreakingBet includes dedicated sections for both Value Bets and Middles, so these tools are not simply additional indicators attached to the surebet scanner.

The Value Bets section searches for potentially overvalued odds and provides information such as the bookmaker, odds, estimated overvaluation and probability of the outcome. Users can configure separate filters to select the bookmakers, markets and parameters that fit their strategy.

BreakingBet also has a dedicated Middles scanner. For each opportunity, the service provides indicators such as mathematical expectation, the estimated probability of hitting the middle, potential profit if the result falls inside the target range, and the possible profit or loss if it does not.

Unlike classic surebets, neither Value Bets nor Middles guarantee a profit on every individual bet. They involve a different risk profile and should be evaluated using the statistical indicators provided by the scanner.

  • Bookkeeping and Betting Analytics

BreakingBet includes a built-in Bookkeeping system for tracking betting activity. Users can create bookmaker accounts, monitor balances, save bets directly from the calculator or add them manually, and keep a detailed history of settled and open bets.

The analytics section provides statistics such as profit, ROI, betting volume and open exposure. Results can also be analyzed by bookmaker account, time period and sport, making it easier to evaluate how different strategies perform over time.

Bookkeeping also supports deposit bonuses and freebets, while betting history can be exported to CSV for further analysis or personal records.

  • Multilingual Interface

BreakingBet is available in eight language versions: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese.

The multilingual interface is particularly useful for an international service, as users can work with the scanner, filters, calculators and help materials in their preferred language rather than relying entirely on English.

BreakingBet Surebets: Prematch and Live

BreakingBet uses a similar interface for finding and displaying surebets in both Prematch and Live modes. The results are presented in a compact format, while the key information needed to evaluate each opportunity remains immediately visible.

By default, surebets can be sorted by profitability, but users can customize the results through filters and sorting options. Each opportunity shows the sport, event, start time, bookmakers, betting markets and current odds, while the built-in calculator can be opened directly from the surebet list.

The surebet list and filters include the following options:

• Sort opportunities by profitability and other available parameters.

• Filter surebets by profit percentage, event start time and the lifetime of the arbitrage opportunity.

• Select specific betting markets, including main outcomes, totals, handicaps, individual totals and additional markets.

• Choose between two-way and three-way surebets and exclude specific line values when necessary.

• Select only the bookmakers the user actually works with. Bookmakers can also be marked as required, so the scanner displays only opportunities that include them.

• Select individual sports and exclude disciplines that are not relevant to the user's strategy.

• Create and save multiple filter configurations and quickly switch between them. Filter settings are stored separately for Surebets, Value Bets and Middles, as well as for Prematch and Live modes.

• Enable or disable sound and pop-up notifications for new surebets.

For each arbitrage opportunity, there is the option to remove it from the feed or report a potential error to customer support. Users can also enable push notifications to receive timely updates on any changes.

OddsClicker: Faster Bet Placement

BreakingBet integrates with the OddsClicker browser extension, which is designed to reduce the amount of manual work required when placing bets.

Depending on the settings selected for each bookmaker, OddsClicker can open the required event, find the relevant betting market, add the selected outcome to the betslip and, where supported, insert the stake calculated by BreakingBet.

The extension works directly with the scanner's Surebets, Middles and Value Bets sections. Individual actions can be configured separately for each bookmaker, and proxy settings are also available.

OddsClicker can save valuable time, particularly when working with short-lived opportunities. However, automation does not eliminate the need to check the odds, market and stake before confirming a bet: bookmaker lines can change while the bet is being prepared.

Negative Arbs

BreakingBet also supports negative arbitrage opportunities with margins down to -3% in both Prematch and Live modes.

Negative arbs are not designed to generate an immediate guaranteed profit. They can instead be used in more advanced strategies, for example when completing bonus wagering requirements or when an arbitrage bettor deliberately accepts a small calculated loss.

This is a specialist feature and is unlikely to be useful for beginners, but it expands the range of strategies available to experienced users.

Additional Advantages of the BreakingBet Scanner

In addition to its core scanning features, BreakingBet includes several practical tools that make everyday work with arbitrage opportunities more convenient.

• The built-in arbitrage calculator supports two-way and three-way surebets, stake rounding and different currencies. It can be opened directly from an opportunity or used separately.

• An active subscription can be frozen for up to 90 days, which is useful when taking a break from arbitrage betting without losing the remaining subscription time.

• BreakingBet provides a browser extension called OddsClicker, which can help users open the required bookmaker page, locate the relevant market and prepare the bet more quickly.

• The platform includes detailed help materials covering scanner settings, filters, surebets, Value Bets, Middles, Bookkeeping and other features.

Disadvantages of BreakingBet

BreakingBet has relatively few serious drawbacks, but there are several points worth considering before purchasing a subscription.

The first is complexity. BreakingBet offers a large number of filters, settings and additional tools. This is an advantage for experienced arbitrage bettors, but beginners may need some time to understand the interface and configure the scanner properly.

Another limitation is that the number of supported bookmakers differs between Prematch and Live. Live coverage is smaller, so users who mainly work with live arbitrage should check whether their preferred bookmakers are supported before purchasing a subscription.

BreakingBet also does not eliminate the usual risks associated with arbitrage betting. Odds can change before both bets are placed, bookmakers may apply different settlement rules, and accounts may be limited. Tools such as filters, the calculator and OddsClicker can make the process faster and more convenient, but they cannot remove these risks completely.

Finally, BreakingBet is a feature-rich professional tool rather than a simplified scanner. Users who need only basic prematch surebets may find some of its functionality unnecessary.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which bookmaker sites does BreakingBet scan? +

BreakingBet has broad bookmaker coverage, but the exact number depends on the scanning mode. The service currently lists 62 main bookmaker sites plus 333 supported clones and mirrors for Prematch, and 42 main sites plus 243 clones and mirrors for Live. The list changes over time as new bookmakers and regional versions are added, so users should check the current bookmaker list before subscribing if they need support for a specific site.

Is subscription renewal automatic or manual? +

Subscription renewal is manual. BreakingBet does not automatically charge users when a subscription expires. To continue using the service, the user must purchase or renew a plan manually.

How can I activate a discounted renewal? +

A discounted renewal price is available while the current subscription is still active. Users can renew through the pricing page, where the applicable renewal options and prices are displayed. Because renewal conditions may depend on the selected plan, it is best to check the available renewal option before the current subscription expires.

What is the subscription "freeze" feature? +

The Freeze feature allows users to temporarily pause an active subscription without losing the remaining subscription days. The available freeze duration depends on the selected plan. When the subscription is frozen, the remaining days are preserved and become available again after the subscription is reactivated.

How does the OddsClicker extension help with betting? +

OddsClicker is a browser extension integrated with BreakingBet that helps speed up the process of placing bets. Depending on the bookmaker and the selected settings, the extension can open the required event, find the relevant outcome, add it to the betslip and, where supported, insert the stake calculated by BreakingBet. OddsClicker works with Surebets, Middles and Value Bets. Users should still verify the odds, market and stake before confirming each bet, as bookmaker odds may change during the process.

Does BreakingBet provide betting analytics? +

Yes. BreakingBet includes a Bookkeeping system for tracking bets and analyzing results. Users can manage bookmaker accounts and balances, save bets directly from the calculator or add them manually, track settled and open bets, and analyze statistics such as profit, ROI and open exposure. Analytics can be filtered by bet type, mode, bookmaker account and date range. Betting history can also be exported to CSV for further analysis or personal records.

How can I contact BreakingBet customer support? +

BreakingBet support can be contacted through the feedback form on the website or by email at support@breaking-bet.com. According to BreakingBet, the support team typically responds within a few hours, although actual response times may vary.

Feedbacks of scanner

As far as I’m concerned, this scanner is rightfully top 1. It’s not as though I’ve checked every option, but I had previously used three resources, and I like this one the most. I look for surebet options, and that’s what they give me here. No piles of unnecessary information, tons of redundant data, or overloaded functionality. Everything is clear and to the point, which is exactly what I like. An affordable subscription is the cherry on top. If someone choosing the right scanner is reading this, I recommend Breaking Bet. You won’t regret it.

I also decided to leave a review after a month of working with BreakingBet. I can say that for professionals who have been doing arbitrage betting for more than just a few days, there are better scanners. The same ABB. But this one has its own advantages. Firstly, I like the simplicity of the site. You quickly find the necessary data and can navigate practically by touch. Secondly, the subscription is cheap here. Obviously, if you play successfully for a long time, the price isn't so important, but in the early stages it's better to pay less and invest more in the business. Thirdly, the odds rarely mess up. Glitches happen, but not as often as on other sites. There are disadvantages too, of course. For example, few bookmakers are analyzed, and in live there are even fewer of them. But overall, a solid, well-deserved four.

I've been working with them for two years now. You have to get used to any tool, but breaking-bet was a pleasure to get used to.

After the upgrade  and price increase, the appeal of breaking has decreased significantly. There are not that many reasons to buy a subscription, the scanner works like all the others, and the price is the same as everyone else’s – what are its advantages?

That’s what I don’t know either

I don't understand the enthusiastic reviews of the BB scanner. It's like everyone else's; at least it used to cost less.

Not bad, but not the best either. I specifically compared the prematch results from this scanner with those of another one from this site, but cheaper. They are practically identical, so why pay more?

The scanner, BreakingBet, is not bad, but not perfect. It has good tools for finding surebets, especially for major markets and popular sports. But sometimes some surebets turn out to be unavailable, or the odds change quickly before I manage to place a bet. I think this is a problem with most scanners, but I would like greater stability. Overall, it is suitable for daily use, but perhaps in the future I will try other scanners for comparison.

Брейкингбет is simply a real find! From the very first day of using it, I understood that I could trust this scanner. Everything works smoothly: fast updates, accurate calculations, convenient filters. I really liked that the service supports different bookmakers – you can choose exactly the ones you are comfortable working with. It's also pleasing that the interface is as simple and clear as possible. I didn't encounter any serious problems during the entire time I used it.  I recommend it!

I've been using Breaking Bet for a couple of months now. I really like how simple and clear everything is – the interface is user-friendly, and you don't need to spend a long time figuring it out. The scanner really does help find a lot of surebets. But there are some things that are a little annoying: sometimes the data updates more slowly than I would like, and because of that I missed some profitable bets a couple of times. A couple of times I noticed that the odds were already outdated when I went to the bookmaker. Overall, the service is useful and cost-effective, so I am continuing to use it for now.

I have been using this surebet scanner for a couple of months now. Overall, I am very satisfied: it updates frequently, there are practically no bugs, and I connected all the bookmakers I need. There is all the necessary statistics and history.

However, a couple of times I caught a situation where a surebet was present in the app, but the odds on the bookmaker's website had already changed. "Dead" surebets that are no longer current also slip through. A solid four for now.
